Terms of Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to use Oreon for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, website, content, design, software, brand elements, text, visuals, and related materials remain the property of Oreon or its licensors and are protected by applicable law.

Oreon is not intended for individuals under the age of 16.

By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old, or older if required by the laws of your jurisdiction to lawfully use such services without parental or guardian consent.

You agree to use Oreon only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

• use the Services in violation of any law;
• interfere with the operation of the App or its infrastructure;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, data, or accounts;
• copy, reverse engineer, modify, distribute, resell, or exploit the App or any part of it;
• use Oreon to build a competing product or service;
• upload, store, publish, or transmit unlawful, harmful, abusive, or rights-infringing content.

Certain App features may require an active internet connection. You are responsible for any data charges, roaming fees, or other fees charged by your mobile carrier or internet provider.
We may release updates, modify features, add or remove functionality, or discontinue support for certain versions of the App.

Oreon offers AI-powered features that may rely on third-party models and APIs, including OpenAI, to generate prompts, reflections, insights, summaries, and other outputs based on the content you provide.

By using AI features, you understand and agree that:

• processing may occur automatically through third-party AI providers;
• AI outputs are informational and supportive in nature;
• AI may produce incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable responses;
• you are solely responsible for evaluating whether any AI output is appropriate for your circumstances.

We do not guarantee that AI outputs will always be accurate, useful, safe, or fit for your expectations.

Oreon is a digital tool for journaling, reflection, self-observation, and personal insight.

Oreon:

• is not a medical service;
• does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, or other licensed professional advice;
• is not a substitute for a doctor, therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, or other qualified professional.

Any information, suggestions, AI outputs, and materials provided through the App are for general informational and user-experience purposes only.

If you are experiencing depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, risk of self-harm or harm to others, or any serious mental or physical health condition, you should seek help from a licensed medical or mental health professional or contact emergency services.

You use Oreon at your own risk.

All elements of the Services, including without limitation:

• the App;
• text;
• interface;
• design;
• logos;
• trade names;
• visual materials;
• software code;
• selection and arrangement of content

are owned by Oreon or lawfully licensed.

You do not acquire any ownership rights in the Services or their materials, other than the limited right to use them for personal purposes under these Terms.

Without our prior written consent, you may not:

• copy materials;
• adapt or modify them;
• publish;
• distribute;
• sell;
• sublicense;
• use them for commercial purposes.

You retain rights to the content you create in the App, to the extent provided by applicable law.

However, you represent and warrant that:

• you have the necessary rights to the content you submit;
• your content does not infringe the rights of any third party;
• you are responsible for the legality of the content you add to the App.
• We may restrict access to or remove content where necessary to comply with law, protect users, maintain service integrity, or enforce these Terms.

We may temporarily suspend or permanently terminate your access to Oreon if:

• you violate these Terms;
• your use creates risk for us, other users, or our infrastructure;
• required by law or a competent authority.

You may stop using the App at any time. Account deletion may be available through in-app functionality.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Oreon, its affiliates, employees, contractors, suppliers, and partners shall not be liable for:

• indirect or consequential damages;
• loss of profits;
• loss of data;
• loss of access;
• device malfunction;
• interruption of service;
• inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in content or AI outputs;
• consequences of decisions you make based on materials or features available through the App.

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind unless otherwise required by law.

We may at any time:

• update the App;
• modify functionality;
• add or remove features;
• amend these Terms of Use.

The updated version becomes effective when posted on the website or in the App, unless stated otherwise. Your continued use of Oreon after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the place of registration of the service operator, unless mandatory laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Some Oreon features are available only through a paid subscription.

Subscriptions may include access to:

• AI features;
• personalized insights;
• enhanced journaling functionality;
• premium app features.

Subscriptions are processed through the App Store and are governed by Apple’s terms and policies.

Subscription terms:

• payment is charged in advance;
• subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal;
• cancellation must be managed through your Apple ID / App Store settings;
• deleting the App or your account does not automatically cancel your subscription.

We do not have access to your billing details and cannot issue refunds directly for App Store purchases. For billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds, please contact Apple.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing, feature availability, and paid plan structure from time to time. Such changes will not affect any already-paid subscription period.

Use of Oreon may require registration. You may create an account using email or Sign in with Apple, where available.

You agree to:

• provide accurate and up-to-date information;
• keep your login credentials secure;
• not share your account with others;
• notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.

You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account.
